Logo design is a specialized art that requires a high level of creativity, design and production skills in order to produce a unique, memorable mark. A good logo should work well, and be readable, at small & large sizes and it's important to keep in mind the final usage. If you plan to use a logo on your website and your business cards, or other printed materials, then make sure it produces well both ways.
